Doors open at 12.00 noon for a prompt 12.30 pm start. Finish at 5.00 pm
Join us for an old fashioned afternoon at the pictures, - a cartoon, a newsreel, and two feature films: “When Comedy Was King” starring Charlie Chaplin, Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, The Keystone Kops, Fatty Arbuckle, Buster Keaton and many others, and “It’s a Wonderful Life” starring James Stewart and Donna Reed
All profits from the event will go to the National Civilian WW2 Memorial Trust (Registered Charity Number 1179099). The Trust wants to preserve the bombed ruins of the former National Picture Theatre, and develop the site as an educational facility and a tribute to those that served on the Home Front.
Tickets £5 in advance (£6 on the door), from K94
